Hey Nedra thank you for sharing this.. It’s so reassuring to know that we can fine tune the systems we have in place to better serve us in the season we are in. For me self care right now is setting more firm boundaries and making time to read.

"It’s important that we take stock of our needs and determine what practices are still working, what we need to let go of, and what new things we may want to try. Asking ourselves these questions from time to time can be helpful to make sure that our practices are in alignment with who we are currently." The kettle at the desk!! You reminded me of a thing I once loved and TOTALLY forgot about, Nedra… from a previous life, working in an office I had to drive to, for a boss that wasn’t me. My office is now approx. 25 steps from my kitchen, but this small convenience = luxury and love. Just the act of pausing to press that button, right?? 🧡

I'm for watching my reality TV to decompress . I'm happy when I'm not home during the weekends. Nightly showers works well for me and makes me feel better..

I love this!💖

For me, self care in this season looks like taking a moment to breathe before going to bed. It feels like the chaos has settled every night when I stop and focus on my breath and gives me the best sleep
