Thank you for this 🙏💕!!

Next week I’ll:

😴 put lavender in my pillow

🤓 Buy actually effective cleaning cloth for my glasses (and stop doing it why my t-shirt 🙈)

🌸 buy myself some flowers (hopefully it’s still peony season, I love them so much 🥹)

Chapstick! I just pulled out about 6 of them and sprinkled them around my apartment and tossed a couple in my purse. Chapstick.

Every day I make my bed in the morning after snuggling in my sheets. I buy 100% cotton sheets because I love the feel of them. I also have two small lamps in my room so that, in the evening, I can wind down with only candle light and my lamps on. It's the little things that bring joy and peace!

Ah Nedra! Made me ponder!

I appreciate the chance to experience different cultures through home-cooked meals and family traditions. I sort of mentally catalogue – the scent of a particular candle, the way they arrange their books, or even the kind of music they play in the background. So lovely!

Love the positivity here, Nedra! I totally resonate with the idea of creating a delightful environment for ourselves with small, thoughtful touches. It's amazing how these little acts can transform our daily routine and uplift our spirits. We definitely need to be kinder and more nurturing to ourselves, just like we are to others.

Love this! The part about the tea station and the chapstick absolutely resonates with me so much! So small yet so impactful!

I love these little reminders. I always say that self-care does not have to cost a fortune. What I struggle with is to find time for these little things. That is what most of us struggle with to be honest. And it requires a mindset shift to get over this. We need to realise that taking care of ourselves is not a reward after a long day at work, it is rather a necessity, no matter if the day was tiring or not.

A small scented-candle, a cozy book, treating ourselves with a dessert we love, buying flowers. Sometimes that is enough♥️

No matter how small it may seem do it for yourself! We all deserve it. As a single mother, I never took time for myself or did anything specifically for me. Everything was centered around my children. Now I see how wrong that was.
